My left ear has caught an infection, most likely due to the unusually hot and humid weather. It hurts every time I open and close my mouth, but I still enjoy feasting on my favorite summer fruit: the watermelon! feel like digging out the ear drum with a fork. Other than that, life is great and

I haven’t given up on this blog, but rather channeling my efforts in other areas right now, to increase my online income, update myself on the massive, recent changes in the Google camp (MayDay update) and learn more about everything in general.

I am also happy to say that the MayDay update didn’t hurt my domains, and that you should not listen to doomsday-sayers claiming it to be the end to all micro niche sites and blogs. Google now rewards your efforts richly upon posting relevant, in context content in your blog or on your website, simply as that. Also, Web 2.0 properties such as Squidoo and Hub Pages seem to attract more followers now. Why should they post their own, unique content on their own domain when they can simply post regurgitated PLR content on a lens or miniwebsite, and still earn shared AdSense revenue with it.

But, enough of that!

Today, Tuesday June 22, 9:00PM – 11:00PM EDT, Brian Johnson and Alex Goad will team up to talk about and show a live demonstration of their new product launch, the Halloween Super Affiliate system. As the Webinar will promote a new IM product, expect a lot of hype and sales pitch, but it is 100% free to join and you’ll get this:

Free Bonus Gifts for the webinar participants:

Bonus Gift #1: Revenue Domains Exposted ($97 value)

Bonus Gift #2: 4 Months Free Access to SEO Cockpit. This is truly a must-have which includes the following tools: Backlink Monitoring, Automatic Rankings Monitor, Indexed Pages Monitor, Automatic Stats Alert, and more.

Bonus Gift #3: Affiliate Payload + Advanced Training Videos ($97 + $127 Value – Free)

Bonus Gift #4: Site Rush + Advanced Training Videos ($97 + $127 Value – Free) – Learn how to flip (sell) your niche sites for profit.

Sign up by clicking the link below, and click the Webinar link that you will find in your Inbox, when the party launches:

(don’t worry; it’s not an affiliate link)

It’s user-friendly little helper that finds web properties letting visitors add their backlinks. Like when you buy a new computer mouse and toss the manual in the bin, this tool is so easy, no manual is required.

The website presents two text fields, “Keywords” and “Find”. In the “Keywords” field you type in your keywords, for instance “how to grow vegetables”. The “Find” option includes a list of following properties, for filtering out which kind of websites you want included in the results:

.edu blogs

.gov blogs

KeywordLuv blogs

Directories-add URL

Directories-add site

Directories-add website

Squidoo Lenses-add to list

HugPages-Hot hubs

Angela’s Backlinks

All you have to do is insert your chosen keyword/s in the top field, choose the appropriate filter below then click the Search button and watch as the magic unfolds. That’s all there is to it! Or at least, for finding good places to use for building backlinks.

Word of caution: do not abuse social web properties, blogs or any other places accepting backlinks. If you are commenting in a blog to add your backlink, make sensible and in context comments. Show respect when building backlinks and commenting in others blogs, and your efforts will be rewarded with better rankings in Google for your website, which means more free traffic.

Click this link to use Drop My Link now for free, enjoy! Drop My Link.

It gives an opportunity to sample products developed by some highly regarded names as well as everyone interested in sharing some of their own products.

But what’s in it for Them?

He is mean, he is green, he is Santa Claus with a hangover. Why else would so many marketers and entrepreneurs suddenly want to give away products they are still making money with for free? The answer is in the list:

Internet Marketers and entrepreneurs aren’t always greedy people chasing newbies to take their money and then leave them to their own destiny; they continuously develop new IM products and either cut the price on previous versions, or give it away for free. Sometimes you get a direct download link without having to sign up, although the most common practice is subscribing to their opt-in list, giving them your email address in exchange for their freebie.

Note: Not all of the contributors participating in JV Giveaways are completely honest about their intentions; some may “spam” your address when you subscribe to their list. Don’t use your main email address when signing up with opt-in lists. Instead, use a free Gmail account. Many lists provide valuable information on how to earn money, but if they spam you, share your opinion (politely) with them, then unsubscribe.

I found a nice and easy to use online tool provided by a forum member over at BHW. The tool is called Quick Index and it is so easy to use, you’ll be done in a moment.

This is purely for indexing your domain(s) in the search engines. Quick Index is 100% whitehat. There are no shady tactics involved nor punishment from search engines for using this method.

How Quick Index works:

Put in the URL you want indexed in the “Domain” text field.

Choose “Manual” to click each of the thirty links manually.

Choose “New Browser” if you your system can handle thirty+ browser instances.

Wait; this will take at least a couple of hours, but your URL should be indexed soon.

Note: this only works for top level domains, i.e. www.yourwebsite.com, this is not a back-link building tool. Quick Index notifies the search engines that your URL is active and waiting to be indexed, something which otherwise can take weeks or longer.

Here’s the link to the online tool again:

Quick Index

Enjoy quicker and more efficient site indexing!

Tools to drive visitors to your website are many but the main one that should be employed is the use of articles. The popularity of article writing and exchange has emerged as a convenient way for people to promote and get fresh content for their sites. The popular search engines want new, creative material and content for their users who are very demanding. Most internet users consider the internet to be one huge database and the search engines also see it as a giant source of information. It is a good idea to understand what it is the search engines are looking for, so rewriting an article automatically makes it something the search engines want, unique content.
keyword elite
However, you may be of a mind to start writing articles from scratch and discard the idea of rewriting existing articles and if that is the case there are a few things you will need to consider. Once you have determined a topic to write on you need to do some research and this is easily done online by entering a search phrase for your topic into your favorite search engine. The importance of making the article flow correctly must not be underestimated so ensure that you have a beginning, middle and an end which should hopefully round up the article nicely. The conclusion is a winding up of all the information you have just written and doesn’t need to be more than about four sentences with most articles approximately twenty sentences long. Remember to split the article up into about three or four paragraphs for easier reading and once you have written the article, you need to include a resource box containing your information and any links.

Article writing is a great way to make money online whether it’s through advertising and promotion for your website or for writing articles for other peoples’ websites. It’s the first article that can be difficult to write so how do you start? Article ideas can easily come from real life, for example, if you have a long and happy marriage, then write articles which help people with their relationships. You could also, get some ideas for niche markets and the articles would at least give you a starting point for writing.

In order to excel at article writing, do not forget that it’s imperative you use good writing methods. Writing on a daily basis will help achieve this because you will come across the same problems faced by every other regular article writer but it will help you to improve. This method works well and that’s the reason why I believe you should remember that the more writing you do, the more effortless and productive it will become. I wish that these guidelines were like the Holy Grail of writing but they’re not although they have worked for many writers including myself, only you can decide whether it’s this system or another that best suits you, however, whatever method you choose, stick with it.

keyword elite

Access competent suggestions about one way links – this is your personal knowledge base.

keyword elite

Many webmasters are obsessed with the Google Page Rank. Articles and books have been written about Google PR (Page Rank). Forum postings cover the topic over and over again and about every 3 months tensions are rising when a possible Page Rank update is eventually happening. Page Rank updates are an interesting experience watching a small group of webmasters go a little crazy.

It all starts with somebody noticing the PR update in progress. This event will find its way into forums and newsgroups fast. Within minutes and hours the Internet community becomes aware of a Page Rank update. As Google.com uses several different data centers for its search engine services and also updates them in different intervals webmasters all over the world will see different results when looking for Page Rank results. A Page Rank update will also not complete within an hour or a day. For several days results will fluctuate.

With that in mind it is a funny event watching the hype surrounding a PR update. Webmasters get nervous if the PR of their website suddenly changes. A change can mean that the PR completely disappears or that the webmaster sees different (conflicting) results. As a high Page Rank can mean higher amounts of traffic and eventually higher income from a website this event often feels like a rollercoaster ride for the people who depend on having a successful website. Imagine the website you worked for so hard suddenly going up and down in Page Rank during a PR update. Now the same people start posting questions and comments in forums and newsgroups. The more experienced webmasters know the game and react professionally. They know that the publicly visible Page Rank is just a moment in time to display a snapshot of what is in Google’s database. They know that PR actually updates daily or weekly internally, but that these more frequent updates do not show up as publicly visible PR updates. But no matter how often it is pointed out that the publicly visible PR is not important – the hype around this topic by a large group of webmasters does not quiet down. “How many links does it take to get a PR 5?” – “Why does my PR suddenly went down? I added x number of back links to my site.” – “I hate Google for doing this.” – These and many other comments or questions will show up.
And so it comes as no surprise that about every 3 months the tensions go high up in newsgroups and online forums when it comes to discussing Google Page Rank. If you are on the hunt for a high Page Rank for you site – don’t waste time looking for the publicly visible PR. Use the time the others need to discuss PR to actually work on the Page Rank for your site. Establish high quality back links to your site. Be smart – be in it for the long run and not some short-term PR gain that won’t last.

Mull for a moment over all the ways that companies use branding to build awareness of themselves or to promote their social awareness and customer service values. A few things come to mind such as greeters at the entrance of my favorite store, go-green awareness issues, charity drives that “give back” to the community for every purchase made, TV screens playing music videos or news as you wait in line, and so forth . None of these things lead directly to conversions but they do lead to higher company awareness and the good old fashioned fuzzy-feelings we get when we know that we are valued as a customer. Most times we are probably not even aware of these things on a conscious level. Yet the effect shows as we have a tendency to advocate [spin] these companies more frequently than the other alternatives.

[spin] It was admitted branding is a viable marketing strategy. Businesses worldwide invest millions of dollars in branding campaigns each year.

As a matter of fact, let’s put aside pure branding campaigns. If you think about it, providing good customer service is branding too. The quality of customer service a company provides (good or bad), causes an image of that company to be branded into the consumers mind. Over time, a little here and a little there builds up into a solid perception of that company. Whether they like it or not, they have established a recognizable brand by doing little more than going about their business.

Beyond doubt when it comes to realizing the benefits of social branding, most companies will tell you that it is valuable. But increases in sales can rarely be traced back to a single customer service or branding event. And that doesn’t negate the value or stop companies from investing their money into these types of campaigns. The lack of trackable rate of return on a per-sale level doesn’t make branding (or good customer service) an unnecessary expense. As a matter of fact, I don’t think any consumer would argue against the necessity of excellent customer service. So what does all this have to do with social media?

And the answer to this question: social media is branding. Over time target may see an increase in brand awareness and overall sales due to their clever TV commercials that do little more than show people dancing around a red target symbol, but I doubt they can trace any sales increase to a single commercial spot. I’m sure some supermarket chain can’t track a single purchase to the addition of the elderly employee standing at the entrance greeting customers. But when we walk through those doors, we feel that our favourite supermarket cares just a little bit more about me, the customer. So goes social media.

In addition, when we engage in social media and online social networking, we similarly don’t see any immediate, trackable results. But, like branding and customer service, we don’t need to in order to understand that it’s valuable. Thus, when companies engage in social media they can’t think of it as a traditional marketing expense with a return on investment that can be shown on paper. Results won’t be seen immediately and usually only after a very long period of time, and you’ll not likely be able to pinpoint a single new sale or customer on a particular social branding campaign.

You should understand that social media is still important. It provides a way for companies to get out there and get noticed. It’s an opportunity to go where the consumers are and create a presence. Like a TV ad, you don’t have to wait for consumers to find you, you go where they are. But instead of forcing yourself on them while they are watching their favorite TV show, social media lets you actually hang out with them. You’re not the ad on the wall; you’re the guy holding the drink telling stories that your audience finds fascinating.

In addition, social media is better than branding and customer service. Because of the direct interaction social media affords the client with their customers, it truly is better than any branding campaign, including one-on-one customer service. Customer service presupposes that the target consumer has to become a customer first (or at least be very close to becoming a customer) before you can make a good impression.

Social media however allows you to brand yourself long before anyone becomes your customer. And it can often be the catalyst that brings them over. And why wouldn’t they? You’ve already become a part of the group. In fact, if you’ve done your social marketing right, you’ve already become their friend. It means that this is interactive branding at work.

So don’t be afraid to participate in social media just because you don’t see the ROI. You’re not likely to, at least not immediately and not in a way you can pinpoint one event causing another. But over time, you can build your social reputation. This leads to credibility. And over time that credibility and awareness will very likely lead to an increase in your customer base.

keyword elite review

Google, being the largest and most used search engine and is extremely important to optimize your website for. As a matter of fact, if you optimize your website just for Google you’d find your rankings in Yahoo! and MSN will jump up higher than your ranking in Google. I’ve optimized many websites that show up in at least the top 20 listings in Google and found that in each case they ranked higher in Yahoo! and MSN usually in the top 3 positions with most in the number one spots.

Most everyone agrees that with Google content is king. So writing good copy with just the right amount of keyword phrases, for keyword density is important. And natural anchor text links is second to the throne, which takes lots of work and proper timing to do properly.

Third in line are keyword phrases (notice I said phrase because single keywords are almost impossible to optimize for), which need to be researched to find the right phrase for you and not used to often in the content/text to get the right density. Used to often and you’ll hurt your ranking.

Fourth in line are the Meta Description Tag which when used properly can actually bring visitors to your website who wouldn’t normally come there. Of course there are several other factors involved with getting that elusive number one spot.

But what most everyone often overlooks is what I call the fifth element which Google uses to determine their ranking of a website and that’s the domain name.

People, even SEO companies, don’t either know the importance of the domain name to Google or take the time to chose the proper name for the website. Most just use their company name or what they conceder a “Cool” name for their websites. Now, unless your company is well known or at least well known in its field, using a basically unknown company name is pointless. Even more pointless is the “Cool” name.

The entire reason you optimize your website is to get visitors from search engines, so why not use all the tools available to get the best ranking possible for your website.

Use your domain name as one of those tools. Instead of your company name or the “Cool” one, use a keyword phrase, one that describes your product or service. Take your time in choosing the proper name. Make sure that it will work best for your website. If you not sure ask your friends and relatives what keywords they would use to find your product or services on the Internet. You might be surprised at what they would use.
keyword elite review
You have the keyword phrase that you know will work. But before you jump online and get that domain name there are a couple of things you may still need to do.

Let’s say you’re the owner of Mike’s Bikes and you specialize in Colorado Mountain Bikes so you figure to kill two birds with one stone and use the domain name mikescoloradomountainbikes.com to keep your name in it along with using the keyword phrase. Now this might make sense to you but you’re not Google. You’re not going to like it but you need to drop the mikes out of the name because it’s dead weight.

So now you’ve got coloradomountainbikes.com but wait before you burn up the keyboard use Colorado-mountain-bikes.com instead. Why? Because Google sees this as three different words and would see coloradomountainbikes.com as a single word. When people are doing a search they will not be using coloradomountainbikes, they are going to use Colorado mountain bikes. The bonus is that your domain name now becomes a keyword phrase used by Google when it performs a search.
