Quick Indexing for your Top Level Domain

Quick IndexI was browsing forums looking for new tips and tools to help marketers get their blog or website registered in Google and the other major search engines, sooner. I found a nice and easy to use online tool provided by a forum member over at BHW. The tool is called Quick Index and it is so easy to use, you’ll be done in a moment.

This is purely for indexing your domain(s) in the search engines. Quick Index is 100% whitehat. There are no shady tactics involved nor punishment from search engines for using this method.

How Quick Index works:

  • Put in the URL you want indexed in the “Domain” text field.
  • Choose “Manual” to click each of the thirty links manually.
  • Choose “New Browser” if you your system can handle thirty+ browser instances.
  • Wait; this will take at least a couple of hours, but your URL should be indexed soon.

Note: this only works for top level domains, i.e. www.yourwebsite.com, this is not a back-link building tool. Quick Index notifies the search engines that your URL is active and waiting to be indexed, something which otherwise can take weeks or longer.

Here’s the link to the online tool again:

Enjoy quicker and more efficient site indexing!

Add Power

As you can see, I have added a new section: “Cool Tools”.

The idea is to make it easier to find free Internet Marketing tools that are easy to use and helps you doing a better job. There are already too many free e-books, tools and other products available everywhere online, and it is confusing to say the least.

I believe many IM beginners drop out after being overwhelmed by all the free information. Information Overload is the first major challenge that they must overcome.

If you have any suggestions for new links in this section, don’t hesitate to send me a message and I will have a look at it. Consider it a free back-link from my PR3 blog :)

Links I won’t accept:

  • PTC, PTR and other “get paid to” programs.
  • Matrix and high yield investment schemes.
  • Affiliate links.
  • Anything porn or sex – related.
  • Link exchanges.

I will continue adding links to free and useful IM products meanwhile. Enjoy!

Importance Of Genuine SEO Techniques

There are some methods of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) you should follow for your website. SEO is very important for all websites out there in the WWW. Without SEO techniques, which are genuine, you cannot get your website to be known, and get any profit from it.

1. Content is King: Every search engine, Google included, looks for only the content. Content is the most important thing to rank high in search engines. Without content, your site is just another site, without much importance. So create good genuine content.
2. Build links: Building links is utmost important just as content. For this, there are several methods. One such method is writing to the related Webmasters and letting them know of your site’s existence. If they believe that your site has some content, which is linkable, they will definitely link to your content. Maybe some reciprocal linking is required. In that case, you can negotiate with the webmaster and ask them about the reciprocal.
3. No one can guarantee number one in search engines: Google is the most important search engine out there, and even Google top employees cannot guarantee your number one position in Google search. It is the result of your hard work and genuine SEO link building that will position you at the top of the search results. Otherwise, you cannot just get to the top of any search engines.
4. Link building yourself is better than consulting: You may promote your blog with genuine SEO, and that will rank your site higher than any SEO firm can do. So, it is extremely important that you do it yourself. Set apart some time in your daily schedule to build links with any niche blogs you know of. Also, ask your friends who have blogs themselves in the same subject to link into your site.
5. Do not trust blackhat SEO firms: Blackhat SEO techniques are those, which do not do genuine SEO but go by such methods as doorway pages, invisible text, keyword stuffing, etc. SEO should be done through Whitehat methods only. Otherwise, you may be permanently banned by search engines.
6. Do not do reckless link buildings: if your blog is two days old and has 1200 incoming links, then Google will ban you on the third day. So, reckless link building is equal to link spamming. Do not do that.

These and more of the techniques to do good SEO are available in the resources mentioned below. SEO is a very important technique to get your site to the top of search engines, thereby building your brand, getting sales, and profit. So, genuine natural SEO technique is extremely important for the success of a website.

Google Is Quickly Changing

With the big buzz of Novembers fall within Google comes a newly indexed data-base…

Did Google do something bad to our great placements? No I don’t think so and here’s why.

While people are screaming for help and wondering what went wrong, I’ve noticed a MASSIVE shift in page ranking.

If you look at top placements at the moment, according to Scroogle, most of the ecommerce search terms got hit really hard. A lot of the top 100 placements were vanishing and quickly.

Now on the other hand, less impressive and especially smaller ranking sites have been bumped up top. I firmly believe this is all because of Google’s “refreshing” their memory and possibly starting to take on web site ID’s with 5 characters plus.

What I mean by that is the ability for Google to index more than 3.2 Billion web sites. Adding another character to the already large 4Id’s dedicated to each site indexed will allow Google to add a whole other list of sites within their data-base.

Now I could be wrong on that one but here’s another phenomenon going on. I’ve been talking to other ecommerce web sites and helping them gain better rankings. It’s been a while since they’ve had their Page Rank change within their site. Working real hard as I instructed, they have followed all the rules and attempted to boost their page ranks.

Up until now, nothing has changed and people are loosing their ranks within Google since Novembers algorithm change.

Around a week ago I’ve been getting calls left right and center about page ranks boosting like I’ve never seen.

The previous scare before this November change went something like this. Google stopped indexing more than 3 levels within your site. Ex. www.yoursite.com/level1/level2/level3

I affirm to you this: its pure baloney, more sites now have better PR ratings within their entire site than ever before. I believe that Google is rewarding most great resources online before taking on more listings within their index.

As towards se placements, I also took a major hit for my better search engine placements but a couple of days ago that started to all change. It almost seems as though Google wanted to take out the top placement companies in order to thoroughly crawl through all their information before letting them get back in the game.

I say this because one of my top placements was sitting at #1 for a long time. Since this November change, it immediately dropped to #181 and didn’t move one single number for over 3 weeks. To my knowledge, that’s a little strange. All of a sudden, my site stats recorded Google browsing through all my 600+ pages and presto, my site is back in the game, just like that.

In Conclusion:

It seems to me that we’re all just lined up to sign an application for better search engine placements. The question isn’t if your site will get back in shape, it’s a question of when your number will be called.

Have a little faith and a little patience and you too will rise again! Just keep doing what you’ve been doing all along and don’t worry about falling down. The ones who get back up are always the ones on top in the end.

Best of luck to you!

This article will guide you through the important steps on how to create and maintain sites in Google. If you have an existing site, use this as a reference to ensure that you are doing everything right. I am going to review 5 areas at a time.

First things first… the domain name dilemma.
Your domain name should be brandable. Keyword rich with hyphens type of domains are not longer relevant. Focus on a .com since it is the one searchers will enter when not sure about extensions, and is the easiest to brand. As far as registering it, do it for more than one year since this helps with the “trustbox” in Google. If you have many related domain names for the same content it is always good to only take one as the main domain and to redirect (301) any others to it. This way, you can make sure not to have duplicate content issues.

Less is more, when it comes to web design.
Your text content should outweigh your html code. Make sure your code is “search engine friendly”. That is a big different with being W3C compliant. The W3C is too limited, and a lot of code warnings will appear with perfectly acceptable code. Their validation system is simply outdated. You want to be search engine compliant, not W3C compliant. Keep this in mind.

Javascript and CSS, in code or out?
Good question. JavaScript and CSS should be in external files. They will increase page size otherwise. Specially when having the same code for menus or styles on multiple pages, when this can be easily fixed by doing it externally.

Demystifying the page size limit.
There is NOT page size limitation here. There you have it. The 101kb limit thing is absolutely incorrect. But do not take this the wrong way. You need to make sure the size of your page is about 40K on average. Up to 50K is OK. Consider loading time as a factor, and the text/graphics ratio is very important.

Web hosting solutions and their impact.
Use your own dedicated server whenever possible. Make sure you have a static IP address assigned to either individual domains or groups of domains, and make sure that it is clean, by not being in any blacklist.

The second part of this article will guide you through the important steps on how to on-page optimize sites in Google. If you have an existing site, use this as a reference to ensure that you are doing everything right. We review 5 more areas.

Keyword research, the beginning.
Start with 5-10 keyword phrases, create content, optimize, post, maybe publish… Why? Are you building an authority? Then, wait until you have at least 100 pages. Otherwise continue. But 5-10 pages at a time can go a long way towards an authoritative site. Remember, what works… takes work.

Keyword refinement, the outgoing.
Following the previous though. After your initial research, primarily of some data you have form various keyword tools, you need to rely on your web analytics to see how focused your optimization is based on your visitors. That is what “outgoing” means here. You need to look at this information, especially search engine and searcher behavior, and refine your optimization even further, for the cycle of your site.

The importance of content tagging.
This is basically bolding or italicizing of keywords phrases in content. Don’t overdue it. It is recommended to use it for user experience mainly. Doing it right will bring good benefits.

Article marketing and its impact.
Writing articles is a great way to add fresh content to your site that is worth linking to. Now, for a good optimization of the content, add your keyword phrase within the first 20 words, at the of the page. Optimize one main keyword phrase per page.

The return of the niche… and off course authority sites.
Sites within 3-12 pages known as “niche” are OK in Google. You don’t need to target or optimize every page, but you should have one page for every target key phrase you want to rank for. If you are after an authority type of site, then you need daily fresh content with 450-500 words a page. This content can be in the form of daily articles you can host and syndicate for your site. Also, a blog or forum is another great way to generate fresh content.
