I had not checked my ACME People Search back office in a while, and honestly I was surprised by what I found when I just logged in, although it was almost to be expected. Tissa Godavitarne’s affiliate program ACME People Search is constantly targeted by blackhatters and otherwise dishonest people using virtual credit cards, virtual PayPal accounts and other evil means to get to the sign-up bonus, which is added in new A.P.S. affiliates back office upon completing all of the three steps in their account. In August 2009 Tissa and his team made it compulsory to register a GDI-based e-mail account in Step 2, due to numerous fake accounts and credit cards created in an attempt to exploit the People Search program.

I’m sitting here at 6 AM in the morning on my B-day (turning 38 today, wo-hoo..), listening to some beautiful Boards of Canada -- inspired electronica, by the artist Chaosmachine, and I feel like posting an update plus a friendly reminder to all the blog commenters out there.

I’m no longer approving blog comments not contributing any value. I still support back-link builders honest efforts, which is why this blog will stay dofollow for as long as possible! I just can’t accept spammy blog comments. Due to a recent burst of spam, I ban and report the worst cases, to their ISP. Just make a sincere comment and add something of use for other readers. It’s not difficult at all, and the readers as well as myself will appreciate it

The last couple of days, I have witnessed some mildly disturbing behaviour in the ACME People Search forum. The thing is, everybody wants to become a Super Sponsor, these days. Why? By contributing with at least 30 supportive and community-building posts in the forum over 30 days, Tissa can give you a Super Sponsor status, which basically means you have all expenses as a fully fledged ACME People Search affiliate with everything turned on, paid for.

OMG your blog is SLOW! WTF is wrong with it?!

Sorry about the blunt language, I still have MMORPG games fresh in mind, even though I stopped playing a while back. When my blog was deleted by the previous web host (their name shall remain unspoken), I had to upload it somewhere else, and so I went back to another company, one that unfortunately is known to be notoriously slow when using their free accounts. I will upgrade, but most likely not with this host; it is simply not good enough.

So, what will I do about that? I will install WP Super Cache one of the next days. It is a powerful tweak which will hopefully improve the overall performance quite a bit, such as faster loading time for pages. I do know which web host company I will be using when I upgrade to a paid hosting service. They have excellent reputation and fast servers. When I get to that point, I will also introduce my new Web Directory.

As for my article marketing endeavors, I will decide on one of two ghost writer teams in total, on my list, today. Then I will submit my first order to them. And to think, I wrote articles on how to stop procrastinating. Oh, the irony.

I just finished submitting my first article especially written for EzineArticles. You know how difficult it can be to have your articles published by their directory, although at the other hand, their strict rules guarantee a high overall quality on the content in their database.

I don’t even want to tell you how many hours I spent on that article, but it suffices to say: too many! Considering the fact that English is not my native language, and I am almost as shocked and surprise as I am convinced that you must be by reading this, it was a great challenge to get everything right.

And how exactly does one get everything right, when writing an article to hopefully be published with one of the least forgiving article directory services on the whole wide web?

Do some research beforehand? Skilled article writers spend at least 10-20 minutes researching the topic first (reading 2-3 articles will suffice), then they start writing like a maniac, according to Travis at Bum Marketing Method. Then it’s proof-reading time. Use a spell-checker, and if you have access to tools like White Smoke, then hit F2 and have it read through everything, then do as it says (unless it is having a bad day). That’s the very basics of article writing.

Now that the article has been submitted, I feel relieved. Also, it seems I have found a cheap yet trust-worthy ghost writer for my next batch of articles. Upon receiving opinions, samples and statistics from another customer, including number of articles approved by EzineArticles, I no longer have doubts and will submit the first order soon.
