Phew! I must say… making my own custom template, one that does not depend on a particular WordPress theme, was far from as easy as I imagined it would be. But then again, I’m a rookie when it comes to WP coding, and I learn something new every day.

I must admit, I was oblivious to how much effort something like this requires of a newbie like yours truly. The best part was creating the graphics, then came the coding. I’ve had a few headaches with all the tags I had to look up to see what they did and how to prevent plug-ins from injecting lots of un-necessary code into the template. Read the rest of this entry

Easy Money Central goes Host Gator

We're Moving! You may have noticed this blog being somewhat slow when you visit. Who am I kidding.. you would have to be pretty ignorant not to notice it crawling on its knees, wheezing “put me out of my misery.. please…”. I have utilized free web hosting until now as part of my “start up at no cost” plan. It did work, at least until 000WebHost decided to pull the plug, and upon requesting a reason they made it clear that free users are not wanted.

I then had to re-build the blog using a two week old back-up. Unfortunately, I chose to go back to ByetHost. It suffice to say, it was not a very wise decision.

Upon receiving a somewhat unexpected (and very welcome) payment from a survey program I had almost forgot about, I took the leap and finally signed up with HostGator for a year. I chose their Baby Croc package. Not the cheapest option, but at $95 for the first year, using a promo code, it was still an excellent offer.

I am also waiting for the  first custom-written batch of articles to be returned in another day or two. The communication with the writer’s team is going well and we have clarified what needs to be done. I have a good impression of the team so far, and I will no doubt recommend them if I find the articles satisfactory and EzineArticles accept them.

See you on the other side…  initiating DNS change. 3… 2… 1… *pooOof!*

Here, have something to amuse yourself in the meantime ;)

Contextual Partnership is Live

Contextual PartnershipThe free back-link building program Contextual Partnership has now been Live for about a week and they have started building links for the user base, including the Easy Money Central blog. So far, the ratio seems pretty good and I look forward to see how well this system can perform in the future.

Visit Contextual Partnership and register a free account, then download and install the plug-in in your own WordPress blog. It doesn’t really matter whether the blog is brand new, as long as it clearly shows that you are developing it with quality content in mind. Other Contextual Partnership webmasters must approve your blog manually, which is why the content is important. Unless you are planning on adding ad spam blogs, you have nothing to fear, though.

There is no catch to this program, at least not that I know of. The membership is free and the more suitable content you have in your WordPress blog, the more link love it will receive. Click the link below to visit their website now:

Power Article Rewriter Review

Power Article RewriterBelow you see my first real attempt to spin an article that I wrote and then re-wrote using Power Article Rewriter. Feel free to compare it with my original located here. It takes a while to re-write articles with this amount of textual content, so you would want to keep it at 350-500 words per article. I just get carried away sometimes … I spent hours with P.A.R. preparing the original for spinning and now, basically all I have to do is click a button and tell P.A.R. to produce up to 1,000 unique articles all based on one and the same original, passing Copyscape easily and done in mere seconds.

Add Power

As you can see, I have added a new section: “Cool Tools”.

The idea is to make it easier to find free Internet Marketing tools that are easy to use and helps you doing a better job. There are already too many free e-books, tools and other products available everywhere online, and it is confusing to say the least.

I believe many IM beginners drop out after being overwhelmed by all the free information. Information Overload is the first major challenge that they must overcome.

If you have any suggestions for new links in this section, don’t hesitate to send me a message and I will have a look at it. Consider it a free back-link from my PR3 blog :)

Links I won’t accept:

  • PTC, PTR and other “get paid to” programs.
  • Matrix and high yield investment schemes.
  • Affiliate links.
  • Anything porn or sex – related.
  • Link exchanges.

I will continue adding links to free and useful IM products meanwhile. Enjoy!
