Google Adwords Banned me For Life

Banned by Google AdwordsToday I received a rather cold e-mail from Google Adwords, a reminder of their strict and non-forgiving rules. Of course I feel a bit aggravated; I have after all just been banned for life, by one of the best PPC tools on the Internet.

Google as a company has experienced tremendous growth and success since the beginning, and if you remember the case of Microsoft growing too large, creating a monopoly, that’s exactly where Google is heading now. When you are banned by Adwords, there’s little you can do to get back. Perhaps begging on your knees, hoping they will listen. Read the rest of this entry

Quick Indexing for your Top Level Domain

Quick IndexI was browsing forums looking for new tips and tools to help marketers get their blog or website registered in Google and the other major search engines, sooner. I found a nice and easy to use online tool provided by a forum member over at BHW. The tool is called Quick Index and it is so easy to use, you’ll be done in a moment.

This is purely for indexing your domain(s) in the search engines. Quick Index is 100% whitehat. There are no shady tactics involved nor punishment from search engines for using this method.

How Quick Index works:

  • Put in the URL you want indexed in the “Domain” text field.
  • Choose “Manual” to click each of the thirty links manually.
  • Choose “New Browser” if you your system can handle thirty+ browser instances.
  • Wait; this will take at least a couple of hours, but your URL should be indexed soon.

Note: this only works for top level domains, i.e. www.yourwebsite.com, this is not a back-link building tool. Quick Index notifies the search engines that your URL is active and waiting to be indexed, something which otherwise can take weeks or longer.

Here’s the link to the online tool again:

Another update on landing page

Sorry about the lack of updates, it’s about time I update you on what I am working on:

I have ran into a snag (again) trying to finish the WP landing page template so that I can put it up here. I knew Internet Explorer was going to cause trouble, though little did I know it was the spawn of Satan himself.

Everything looked good, finally. The code validated fine and I had this great almost-there feeling. But alas, something required fixing before it would render correctly in Internet Explorer. One change leads to another, and soon enough everything is FUBAR. This time I even managed to FUBAR it in Opera. I must be a gifted FUBARer, perhaps. Read the rest of this entry

Why Failure leads to Success

The last couple of days has been a mess; there has been so much to do that I kind of froze when I turned around and looked at all the tasks I must finish before I can move on and expand my activities. In that regard, I want to share some stray thoughts to encourage those who are new at Internet Marketing.

Why Failure leads to Success

As frustrating it may be, and I point this out to my referrals: in order to appreciate success and understand how to achieve it, they must first experience failure. If success was like winning the lottery, would you work harder to become more successful, if you could afford whatever your dreams desire, all of a sudden? Read the rest of this entry
